The plot shows the results of a stress analysis study of an aluminium cabin enclosure subject to a wind load applied in accordance with BS 6399. The analysis was non linear because deflections were constrained asymmetrically i.e. to a different degree in opposite directions. Panels were relatively unrestricted in bulging outwards but prevented from bulging inwards to the same extent.
