ASMET Engineering and Technical Services was founded in 2004 to offer an engineering resource to organizations or individuals who are not able to make the commitment required to recruit additional permanent engineering staff. ASMET is not an agency but is a company capable of executing a range of engineering projects through it's own personnel. The engineering expertise on offer lies mainly in the category of mechanical engineering but there is experience and capability in engineering activities where the boundaries of the traditional engineering disciplines overlap.
Services Offered By ASMET:
Prospective clients may need engineering effort to supplement existing staff to cover periods of high demand, or for a project which represents a diversion from core activities. Tasks or projects can be undertaken at client's premises or other locations if required or alternatively at the ASMET office at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire close to the West Midlands. ASMET personnel can operate on a secondment basis invoiced at an hourly rate or at a fixed cost for an agreed set of deliverables.
ASMET has it's own licence for draughting and 3D modelling software: TurboCAD Professional which can generate files in all the commonly required formats. In addition ASMET has a licence for Mathcad which is a widely used software package for the performing and documenting of calculations with traditional mathematical notation and allowing them to be exported in interactive form. ASMET also has at it's disposal, office software which can produce documents in a variety of formats including the Adobe .PDF and Microsoft Word. ASMET has ready access to full licences for CAESAR II Pipe Stress Analysis software and LUSAS Finite Element Analysis software.
